At a later date we may entertain private pages or other revenue generators but the expectation is that any excess money generated will go to self-promotion of MedanAja.com to drive more traffic to the site and therefore to your classified ads.
Yes, you can use third-party channels (like MedanAja.com) to promote your Shopee, Tokopedia, or Blibli listings and drive traffic to these platforms. This is not only allowed but also encouraged as part of their marketing strategies. Here’s how it works:
: Shopee supports off-platform advertising through tools like Facebook Ads and Google Ads. Sellers can use these channels to attract external traffic to their Shopee stores. Shopee even provides features like “External Platform Visitor Reports” to track performance from such campaigns.
: Similar to Shopee, Tokopedia allows sellers to use external platforms like social media or search engines to promote their products and drive traffic to their stores. However, sellers must ensure that promotions comply with Tokopedia’s advertising policies.
: Sellers on Blibli can also use external advertising platforms to boost visibility and bring traffic to their listings, provided the campaigns follow Blibli’s guidelines.
These platforms encourage external promotion as long as it directs traffic to their marketplace and not away from it.

So only sellers who reside in the Medan-Area or operate from a premisses in the Medan-Area are expected to sell on the MedanAja.com platform.
A good rule of thumb, for most products, will be “Can the item be delivered to the buyer within 1-2 days”.
Of course that may not be possible for some items but as long as you are local then it is OK.
There is an “Abuse” link on each sellers profile so sellers may be reported and removed if found to be abusing the platform.
To register as a seller and be able to post adverts for free then go to the foot of any page and click on ‘Medan Aja – Registration’.
On the form fill out your preferred user name and email address.
(User names must be unique so you may get an error if already taken).
You will receive an email with your user name and an automatically generated unique password.
You may change your password on your first log-in.
You are also requested to provide some additional information, mostly optional.
If you register as a buyer you will be able to see a list of all items of each particular seller including, if available, email contact form, phone number, location and website.
First go to the foot of any page and click on ‘Medan Aja – Registration’.
On the form fill out your preferred user name and email address.
